Life changing lumpia! We found them today on a bluegrass Sunday at deathridge brewery. What a total treat, the bbq chicken was amazing and the taste and texture were not to disappoint at all. Lumpia was also incredibly tasty, the bbq wings we had with jerk sauce were tasty but not too spicy. In addition to that, the owners were so friendly and just nice all around normal people who put a lot of love into their food. Will definitely look forward to having this again at some point in the future.
Ever had a meal and an experience that made you feel right at home? Well don’t overlook Nanay’s. You can taste the love in her cooking. It feels like a huge hug. The kind when you haven’t seen family for way too long. If you don’t know what flavor to expect with Filipino food, then the best description I have is: Asian/Latin/Soul fusion. It hits everything your soul needs. Don’t sleep on this… you will absolutely miss out.
We hosted our Christmas Eve get-together and Nanay’s Kitchen provided all the food and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfectly prepared and consistent as always. Hands down one of our favorites.
Hands down the best Filipino food I’ve ever had. Everything about them is wonderful—from the genuine customer service to the incredible quality, flavor, and value. You can taste the care and love in every bite. An amazing couple doing amazing things, and I absolutely love supporting them. Highly recommend!
My wife had told me about this amazing new Filipino food truck that opened up between Culpeper and Warrenton several months ago, and we knew we had to check it out. We stopped by one Saturday afternoon with our kids and were blown away by how delicious the food was, especially for how generous the portions were at such reasonable prices! We have been avid fans of this place ever since! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they even shared a bit about how the food truck came to be. We were more than happy to support a small business run by such humble and passionate people! The menu changes weekly, with updates posted on their Facebook page, along with current hours, so it’s definitely worth checking before you go. Everything we’ve tried has been cooked perfectly, and the food alone makes the trip well worth it if you’re craving Filipino cuisine! We’ll absolutely be coming back for more. Thanks again!
Finally got to go here today for the first time, though I’ve been following along their journey this past year on Facebook! The food was fresh, hot & delicious! Best lumpia I’ve ever had & those adobo wings were perfectly cooked! Culpeper lucked out with this gem! 🥰 Also the customer service is 1000/10!
I wanted to order takeout food but had no idea I wanted. I was just tired of all of my other local options. I wanted something different and that Facebook search led me to Nanay’s Kitchen!! OH MY GOD. I have never tried Filipino food before and my life is now changed. How did I go 31 years without lumpia? Pancit? I’ve never had rice or noodles that were so FLAVORFUL!!!! I am absolutely obsessed now. The owner is SO nice and will bring a smile to your face instantly! My only complaint is that they aren’t open during the week because waiting for the weekend is just too long!!!! :)
The best buffalo chicken lumpia is the best I have ever had! Pulled pork with Asian slaw is simply amazing! The owners are always smiling and shows a deep connection with their customers! I definitely will recommend Nanay's Kitchen to everybody! ☺️
